Our approach: Wildly is designed for families. We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or use personal data for cross-app tracking.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wildly (“Wildly”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use the Wildly — Daily Animals mobile application, our website, and related services (together, the “Services”).

1. Who is responsible for your data

Wildly is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Wildly is operated from Spain.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@wildly.studio.

2. Information we may collect

App account and installation information

The app may create an anonymous technical identifier so that features such as progress, discoveries, streaks, preferences, access rights, and restored purchases can work across sessions. You are not required to provide your name, postal address, phone number, or date of birth to use the core app.

App activity and saved progress

We may process information generated through your use of the app, such as animals viewed, quiz results, captured animals, streaks, calendar progress, feature preferences, and whether onboarding or notices have been completed.

Subscription and purchase information

If you start a trial or purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We may receive and process purchase-related information such as product identifier, subscription status, entitlement status, transaction status, renewal or expiration information, country or storefront, and an anonymous customer identifier. This information is used to provide premium access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions.

Device, diagnostics, and technical information

We may receive limited technical information needed to operate and improve the Services, including app version, operating-system version, device type, language, country or region, installation identifier, crash information, performance information, network status, and technical logs. We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app may use a device notification token and your notification preferences to deliver daily reminders or service messages. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Messages you send us

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, and technical details relevant to your support request.

Website information

When you visit our website, hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. This is normally required to deliver the site, protect it against abuse, and diagnose errors.

3. Information we do not intentionally collect

Wildly does not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, videos, microphone recordings, health information, or payment-card details. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use personal data to build advertising profiles or track users across apps and websites owned by other companies.

4. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

5. Legal bases for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or similar law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

6. Service providers and disclosures

We use carefully selected providers to operate the Services. They process information on our behalf or as independent controllers where applicable.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Services, in connection with a business reorganization, or with your explicit direction. We do not permit service providers to use app data for their own advertising purposes.

7. International data transfers

Some service providers may process information outside Spain or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected through appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary technical or organizational measures.

8. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

We may retain information longer where required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, or necessary to protect legal rights. Information may also remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten.

9. Children and families

Wildly is designed to be enjoyed by children together with a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult. The app is not intended to ask children for their name, email address, phone number, precise location, or other direct contact information.

Purchases and subscription management are handled through the adult’s Apple account and should be supervised by a parent or guardian. We do not show third-party behavioural advertising and do not knowingly sell or share children’s personal data for targeted advertising.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us unexpectedly, contact hello@wildly.app so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a request, email hello@wildly.app. We may need to verify that the request relates to you or your device before completing it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In Spain, the supervisory authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

11. Managing your information

You can manage notifications through iOS Settings and manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app from a device does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription and may not immediately delete server-side progress, purchase, or security records.

To request deletion of data associated with the app, contact us at hello@wildly.app. Where technically available, deletion may also be offered inside the app.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network connections, limited service permissions, and provider security controls. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Third-party links and media

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or media, such as educational videos. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Opening an external link may allow the third party to receive technical information such as your IP address and browser or device information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Services, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy on this page and change the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice in the app.
